Frequently Asked Questions
What can expect during virtual therapy?
During virtual sessions, Dr. Koenig will work with you to identify your specific needs and goals. The sessions are structured like in-person therapy, and focus on understanding your concerns. Virtual therapy allows for flexibility in scheduling and can easily fit into your lifestyle.
Is virtual therapy as effective as in-person therapy?
Research has shown that virtual therapy can be as effective as in-person therapy for many individuals. Dr. Koenig uses the same evidence-based techniques during virtual sessions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, or other approaches. The key to success is finding a qualified therapist you feel comfortable with who meets your needs.

Insurance
We are out-of-network for all insurance carriers; however, depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Dr. Koenig is happy to provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance if requested.
If you would like to inquire about your coverage, we recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
If I were to be treated by a psychologist out of network and I submit a superblll for my sessions, what percentage will I get reimbursed?
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it?
Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
Payment
We accept all major credit cards as forms of payment.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
